A game featuring tons of cussing, drinking, and foul ridden squirrels is something that interests many gamers. From the day this foul mouth rodent slammed the N64 console, gamers have been patiently waiting for a second helping of wrong doing. Thanks to the XBOX, that time is now.

The arrival of Conker Live and Reloaded signals the return of video games furry bad boy, but not the long awaited continuation of his story. Rather than following the misbehavior of this wild squirrel, the developer has kicked Conker to the curb and expanded the scope of the game by focusing on the war that is erupting between the heroic squirrel nation and the evil minions.

Vague glimpses were seen in the original Nintendo 64 game, although now you can see it unfold in all of its bloody glory. Explosions will blanket the battlefield, fluffy squirrel’s tails will catch on fire and burn in the trenches and the corpses of teddy bears will be hurled high into the air, leaving nothing but a faint trail of charred stuffing in their wake.

Whether you decide to join the online ranks for matches or seclude yourself in a bunker for single player bouts, Live and Reloaded offers a game of war that is unlike anything you have ever experienced. You can have up to 16 players online, which makes for a very fun time customizing your battle options and planning your strategy. If you have access to XBOX Live, this is one game that you can spend hours – even months playing with people around the world.

Although the premise of the game is innovative, the trademark humor of the series is nowhere to be found in any of these battles, and in a sense been replaced by the typical banter of XBOX Live users. The game offers plenty of excitement throughout the many missions, which is perfect for anyone who enjoys hours of game play.

Interestingly enough, the game has something great that’s tucked offer to the side as a bonus. For those of you who either missed Conker the first time through or just want to revisit it, Rare has included a graphically enhanced port of the original Bad Fur Day. It’s not a new game at all, although it’s still the best that Conker has to offer. The original Conker is an excellent game and provides plenty of action and excitement.

The original Conker for the Nintendo 64 appeared during the dying phase of the system. Now that it’s come back to life on the XBOX, there’s a good chance that it will appear in the spotlight where it belongs. If you’ve been looking for a great game with excellent XBOX live features, Conker Live and Reloaded is everything you’ve been looking for – with an added taste of the unexpected.
